Porcupine Tree - The Sky Moves Sideways [2CD Digipack]

Porcupine Tree’s 1995 album The Sky Moves Sideways is presented here as a two-CD reissue in a six-panel digipack. It suits listeners exploring the band’s experimental, guitar-led sound, with an alternative version of the title track and additional tracks on the second disc.

Recorded partly as a Steven Wilson solo project and partly as a full-band album, The Sky Moves Sideways spans space rock and progressive rock, with extended instrumental sections. It is regarded by many Porcupine Tree fans as one of the band’s finest releases.

The first disc presents the original album as conceived for vinyl. The second includes an alternative version of the title track, plus “Stars Die” and “Moonloop”; the “Moonloop” edit combines music from previous versions and runs for 21 minutes.
