Crime drama directed by Harold Becker and starring Al Pacino, Ellen Barkin, and John Goodman. New York cop Frank Keller (Pacino) is divorced, disenchanted, and nearing retirement when a serial killer begins targeting men in their bedrooms. Evidence points to a woman using personal ads to lure her victims. Teaming up with fellow officer Sherman (Goodman), who is investigating a similar case, Keller devises a risky plan: place fake personal ads to date potential suspects and collect their fingerprints. When the alluring and enigmatic Helen (Barkin) responds, Frank is drawn into a dangerous romance, blurring the line between duty and desire as he suspects she may be the killer.

If you care about “mint condition,” part of the barcode on the box was marked out in Sharpie. Very fast delivery to US and arrived completely safe despite being in a bubble mailer.

Splendidly politically incorrect by today’s standards but a bit of fun. Set in Nigeria but I suspect filmed in East a Africa - the fever trees in the wildlife scenes give it away
