Sad Daddy - Ozark Shine

Sad Daddy returns with their fourth studio album, Ozark Shine, a collection that highlights the band's strong songwriting and rich harmony vocals. Emerging from the Ozark hills, this album carries a similar sentiment and back-to-the-country message as their acclaimed 2022 release, Way Up in the Hills, which resonated with listeners through its down-to-earth, raw old-time country and jug band vibes.

Ozark Shine captures the pulse of America with original material that feels both timely and timeless. The songs explore diverse themes, from preparing for severe weather and finding peace in rural land ownership to lighthearted tales of returning home and even darker humor. Recorded live in the same room at Nashville's Bomb Shelter Studio with engineer Drew Carroll and mixed by Andrija Tokic, the album features the talents of Brian Martin, Rebecca Patek, Joe Sundell, and Melissa Carper. Their shared joy in creating music together is palpable throughout this record, which includes a mix of new songs and previously unrecorded older material, promising moments of peace, laughter, and comforting joy.

This vinyl edition allows you to experience the authentic sound and storytelling of Sad Daddy.
