Horrible Guild Sunrise Lane Board Game

In Sunrise Lane, players step into the roles of construction companies vying to develop a prestigious residential neighborhood. Success hinges on strategic plot selection and efficient house building across the game board grid. This engaging strategy game offers dynamic gameplay centered around color-matching cards and tactical placement decisions.

• Strategic Plot Selection: Compete to select the most prestigious land plots, where adjacency to existing structures is crucial for placement success.
• Dynamic Card Mechanics: Use color-matching cards to build houses, with options to construct additional floors for more points or discard cards to build parks.
• Turn Planning: Draw a new card each turn, but plan carefully as no renovations are permitted after construction; skipping turns to draw more cards can be a tactical choice.
• Bonus Point Opportunities: Accumulate bonus points by meeting specific town plan requirements, such as having the tallest houses in blue districts or majority presence in red districts.
• Multi-Player Competition: Designed for 2 to 4 players, offering a competitive race to outbuild opponents and establish the dream neighborhood.

The game board features a grid of spaces, each showing 1-5 dots in a single color. On your turn, you either draw 2 colored cards (up to a hand limit of 5) or discard cards to place a building and then draw one card. To build, you must place a house adjacent to an existing structure (or the central starting space) and discard cards matching the color of the dots on the target space. Discarding 1-5 cards allows you to place 1-5 of your House pieces on that space, scoring points equal to the number of dots multiplied by the number of pieces placed. You can chain multiple constructions in one turn if each subsequent build is adjacent to the last one placed.

The game concludes when a player has 2 or fewer House pieces remaining in their supply. Final scoring includes endgame points awarded based on district majorities (most buildings in two districts, tallest buildings in two others), plus bonus points for the player with the longest continuous group of adjacent buildings.
