Description

Ohio's 156/Silence unleashes "From a Distance," their formidable new full-length album and debut for Pure Noise Records, set for release on September 4th. This album builds upon the success of "People Watching" with a darker, more cinematic soundscape that masterfully blends punishing heaviness, unsettling atmosphere, and profound emotional depth. Produced by Josh Schroeder, known for his work with King 810, Lorna Shore, and The Plot In You, "From a Distance" is an unpredictable and genre-defying journey.

Key Features:

  • Features guest appearances from Mike Hranica (The Devil Wears Prada) and Alex Reade (Make Them Suffer).
  • Draws inspiration from horror, prestige television, and retro game soundtracks.
  • Seamlessly transitions between hard rock, experimental textures, and the band's signature chaotic mathcore sound.
  • Atmospheric, unpredictable, and unbound by genre conventions.
