Portions of the material were recorded on 8-track by Chris Amson across several German venues between May 16th and June 2nd, 1978. The remaining tracks were captured on 24-track at Bern Festhalle, Switzerland, on May 28th, 1978, engineered by Robin Black utilizing the Maison Rouge Mobile.
