Album Inspiration and Sound

Blue Morpho was written during lockdown and recorded across The Church Studio in London and Seven Sound in Wales. The tranquil Welsh countryside served as a significant inspiration, helping to capture a feeling of reflection, healing, and acceptance within the music. Musically, the album features a collage blending hypnotic psych-folk, jazz, trip-hop, radiant guitars, and distinct rhythm sections.

Production and Collaborators

This record was produced by Paul Epworth (known for work with Adele and Coldplay), with additional production handled by Riley MacIntyre (Ezra Collective). The mixing was executed by Ben Baptie (Sault, Little Simz). The album features contributions from an array of talented musicians, including Shabaka Hutchings on flute, Dave Okumu on guitars and bass, Philip Selway on drums, and The Tallinn Chamber Orchestra.
