Description

Black Harvest is the second album by UK rock band Green Lung, presented here on multi-coloured vinyl. It’s a folk-horror-inspired record for listeners drawn to expansive, atmospheric rock.

Following their debut Woodland Rites, Green Lung broaden their sound on Black Harvest with cinematic textures and freshly crafted riffs. The album was recorded at Giant Wafer Studios in rural mid-Wales with longtime producer Wayne Adams.

The haunting opening vocal of “The Harrowing” was recorded in a local church, with its creaking organ captured in the background. Samples sourced from the surrounding countryside and instruments found in the studio add to the album’s autumnal atmosphere.
