Written and largely produced by Tyler Joseph in isolation over the past year at his home studio, with Josh Dun engineering the album's drums remotely, "Scaled and Icy" emerged from long-distance virtual sessions. The album captures the duo processing disrupted routines and the emotional landscape of 2020—marked by anxiety, loneliness, boredom, and doubt. Forced to adapt their creative process, Twenty One Pilots reached new depths of introspection, embracing a bolder, more imaginative songwriting approach. The result is a resilient collection of songs that navigate setbacks while celebrating possibilities worth holding onto.

Splendidly politically incorrect by today’s standards but a bit of fun. Set in Nigeria but I suspect filmed in East a Africa - the fever trees in the wildlife scenes give it away
