Foo Fighters - Sonic Highways [Vinyl]

Sonic Highways is a Foo Fighters vinyl album for fans of the band’s alternative rock. The 12-inch, 180-gram LP comes with one of nine limited-edition covers, selected at random.

Foo Fighters wrote and recorded a song in each of eight cities: Austin, Chicago, Los Angeles, Nashville, New Orleans, New York, Seattle and Washington, D.C. The album explores the musical influences of each city and features local musicians.

Dave Grohl wrote the lyrics on the final day of each recording session, drawing inspiration from the cities, interviews for the HBO series and people involved in the process. The cover variants include eight city-themed designs and a ninth version; they are not sold separately.
