Drachen haben das Land Keydom wegen seiner Schätze geplündert, die sie nun im Höhlennetz rund um Keytown horten.
Im Wettbewerb mit anderen Spielern führst du in Keydom's Dragons eine Gruppe von acht mutigen Stadtbewohnern (Arbeitern) an. Während die Drachen unterwegs sind, schickst du einige deiner Arbeiter in die Höhlen, um Stück für Stück ihre Schatzvorräte zu bergen. Andere Arbeiter werden in der Stadt um Hilfe und Beistand bitten oder versuchen, mithilfe von Kraft oder Bestechung einen Weg an den Burgwächtern vorbei zu finden, wodurch Ihren verbleibenden Arbeitern der Weg in die Burgräume geebnet wird und die Schätze, die Ihr Team gefunden hat, für den Kauf wertvoller Artefakte ausgegeben werden .
Sobald alle Artefakte der Burg beansprucht wurden, ist der Spieler siegreich, dessen Band die meisten Artefakte erworben hat, und erlangt in ganz Keydom Anerkennung und Ansehen.
