Description
U2 - The Joshua Tree [Limited Edition Vinyl]
Experience the fifth studio album from the iconic Irish rock group, U2, presented here in a special Limited Edition 2LP Vinyl format. Moving away from the ambient experimentation of their 1984 release, 'The Unforgettable Fire', this album showcases the band's successful pursuit of a harder-hitting sound grounded in conventional song structures.
Album Significance
The Joshua Tree is celebrated for its powerful tracks, including the massive hit singles 'With or Without You', 'I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For', and 'Where the Streets Have No Name'. Notably, the first two singles became the group's only number-one singles in the US. This landmark release earned U2 Grammy Awards for Album of the Year and Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal in 1988.
