Description
Midas is Wunderhorse’s second album on vinyl, capturing the raw energy of the band’s live performances. It’s for listeners drawn to guitar music with rugged hooks, unfiltered noise and melodic sensitivity.
Produced with Craig Silvey, the album pushes Wunderhorse beyond their comfort zone, aiming for an unpolished, immediate sound that feels like being in the room with the band.
Wunderhorse rose to prominence after their debut album Cub, with the songs “Purple” and “Leader of the Pack” receiving extensive radio play. The band went on to perform at Glastonbury’s Woodsies Tent and sell out London’s Kentish Town Forum.
