Description
Just Beyond Endless Mountain is a vinyl album by Swedish singer-songwriter The Tallest Man On Earth, for listeners drawn to his evolving songwriting. It brings Swedish folk traditions into a sound shaped by his return to his native Dalarna.
For nearly twenty years, Kristian Matsson has performed around the world as The Tallest Man On Earth, building a distinctive place in contemporary folk music. His earlier work has often been heard through the lens of American folk.
On this album, polskas, old field recordings and local Swedish traditions reshape his melodies, voice and songwriting. The result opens a new chapter in his career and is his most deeply rooted album to date.
