Description
In a Silent Way is a studio album by Miles Davis, the American jazz trumpeter, composer and bandleader. This vinyl LP is for listeners exploring Davis’s more experimental work.
The album blends jazz with electronica, reflecting Davis’s experimentation and the influence of German composer Karlheinz Stockhausen. Its unconventional musical structure and electric approach divided jazz and rock critics on release; it has since come to be regarded as one of Davis’s most influential works.
