The Paint Pop Marbling Art Kit contains everything needed to get started including a mixing tray, marbling powder, a spoon, 12 paint colours, 3 stirrers, a spatula, a dropper, 10 papers and an instruction manual to help create amazing art creations.
Please be aware that marbling does require some pre-preparation. The marbling powder (carrageenan, included) is a thickener and needs to be added to hot tap water, taking about 3-5 hours to set properly. A top tip is to prepare it the night before the child plans to paint and then they are all set & ready to create the next day.
To use simply select paint colours and add them in various-sized droplets to the water. Seeing the paint float on top of the water and gently move around is fascinating! Use the stirrers to spread, swirl and merge the colours. The special marbling paint transfers instantly. See creativity coming to life in different ways to create a unique picture every time.
Experiment with different colours to blend and mix and use the spatula to create larger sweeps of colour. Once happy with the overall feel of the picture, place one of the papers on top to absorb the paint and transfer it onto the paper magically. Then lift the paper away from the tray and admire the result! Children can have fun creating framed pictures or greeting cards to share with others.
