Description

Small Faces’ psychedelic rock album Ogdens’ Nut Gone Flake is presented here as an expanded 3-CD edition for fans and collectors. It includes the album in mono and stereo, plus a third disc of outtakes and rarities.

The Small Faces’ most successful LP, it reached No. 1 in the UK for six weeks. Its second side tells the story of Happiness Stan and his quest for the missing half of the moon, narrated by Stanley Unwin.

Standout songs include “Lazy Sunday”, “Afterglow”, “Song Of A Baker” and “Rollin’ Over”. The album was recorded during 1967 and 1968, and this edition uses Nick Robbins’ 2018 remasters, sourced from original Immediate mono and stereo masters and outtake and session tapes.
