Overmono - Pure Devotion

Overmono, the acclaimed electronic music duo comprised of brothers Tom and Ed Russell, present their highly anticipated second album, "Pure Devotion." This ambitious project delves into the beauty of imperfection, embracing machine malfunctions and happy accidents to create a truly unique sonic landscape. Drawing on years of experience at the forefront of underground electronic music, Overmono delivers a collection that solidifies their status as a defining dance music act of the decade.

The album features eleven tracks that showcase Overmono's experimental approach to production. They've explored bold new territories by incorporating synthesizers from the '70s and '80s, utilizing an antiquated train announcement speaker, and even experimenting with baking a crash cymbal. This dedication to intention and physicality is evident in every choice, extending to the emotive vocal contributions from British poet John Joseph Holt, close collaborator Kindora, and Paul Institute's Ruthven. "Pure Devotion" prioritizes emotion over desensitisation and craft over efficiency, embodying a true labor of love.
