About the Band:
Originating in South Africa with guitarist Keith Lentin, drummer Anton Fig, and vocalist Amanda Blue, Spider's musical journey began before reuniting in Boston. Amanda and Keith also spent time in England, where Amanda pursued a solo artist contract. The band solidified in New York with the addition of keyboardist Holly Knight and bassist Jimmy Lowell. Drummer Anton Fig's connection to KISS, through playing on Ace Frehley's solo album, further shaped the band's trajectory. Signed to Dreamland Records by Mike Chapman and Nicky Chinn, Spider released albums that, despite not achieving massive commercial success, are highly recommended for their quality melodic pop-rock.
