Description
For Emma, Forever Ago is the debut album by Bon Iver, the project fronted by singer-songwriter Justin Vernon. This one-disc CD features intimate indie folk built around acoustic guitar and layered vocals.
Recorded largely by Vernon in a Wisconsin cabin, the album pairs a rough-edged, atmospheric sound with his expressive falsetto. Standout songs include “Flume”, “Creature Fear” and “Team”.
