Dried Porcini Mushrooms from Emma Basic offer a rich, earthy flavour and meaty texture, making them a versatile ingredient in a variety of dishes. When dried, porcini mushrooms develop a more intense umami taste due to increased guanylate content, enhancing soups, stews, stir-fries, and sauces. Rehydrate by soaking in warm water for 20–30 minutes, then use in recipes with vegetables, noodles, omelettes, or meat dishes. The soaking liquid can also be used to create a flavourful dashi or broth base.

These mushrooms are suitable for vegans and are low in fat while being high in fibre and protein. Store in a dry area and keep the container tightly closed after each use to maintain freshness.
