Each microphone features a low-mass diaphragm for an ultra-wide frequency response and a flat frequency curve that provides a slightly brighter sound, enhancing cymbals and acoustic instruments. The ultra-low-noise transformerless FET input circuit ensures minimal distortion, while switchable low-frequency rolloff and 10 dB input attenuation allow for precise sound shaping in various acoustic environments.
Constructed with rugged metal die-cast bodies and gold-plated 3-pin XLR connectors, the C-2 microphones offer durability and reliable signal integrity. They require phantom power (+48 V DC) for operation, making them compatible with any phantom-powered audio interface or mixer, including Behringer XENYX series mixers.
