Description
Reliance is the seventh studio album from Swedish progressive metal band SOEN, for listeners drawn to music that balances heavy intensity with quieter, reflective passages. Its songs explore the human mind, heart and soul.
Featuring Joel Ekelöf on vocals and Martin Lopez on drums, SOEN continue to develop a sound that moves between light and dark, loud and calm. The album combines progressive metal with orchestral elements and deeply personal themes.
“Primal” brings a forceful charge to its reflection on the human spirit, while “Axis” pairs defiant themes with driving drums. “Indifferent” offers a more serene lament on the loss of love, shaped by strings, piano and Ekelöf’s vocals.
