Submotion Orchestra - Passed Me By [audioCD]

Submotion Orchestra returns after an 8-year hiatus since their last LP, Kites, with their highly anticipated sixth studio album, Passed Me By. This remarkable release is a deeply personal exploration of memory, creativity, and the passage of time, showcasing the band pushing their signature electronic sound into their boldest and most emotional territory yet.

The album builds upon the synth-led, minimalist electronic textures and driving beats introduced on the 'Five Points' EP, blending them with the post-dub spaciousness and celestial effects characteristic of their earliest work. Featuring the consistently emotional vocals of Ruby Wood, the tracks navigate a wide spectrum of genre and mood, resulting in the broadest expression found in a Submotion album to date.
