Joan Jett - Bad Reputation (45th Anniversary Reissue)

Joan Jett’s seminal 1981 debut album, ‘Bad Reputation,’ stands as a powerful cultural staple, emerging from a time when Jett was challenging the notion that “girls don’t play electric guitar.” This 45th-anniversary edition celebrates the perseverance and authentic resolve that defined Jett’s career, featuring brand-new album art derived from a rare photo of the era.

The album cemented Jett’s status with essential tracks that continue to resonate across media, from television intros like Freaks and Geeks to films such as 10 Things I Hate About You and Shrek. The title track alone achieved gold certification as a digital single, introducing the music to new streaming audiences.
