From New York Times and multi-million-copy bestselling author Rachel Gillig comes The Knight and the Moth, a spellbinding gothic romantasy. This novel plunges readers into a mist-cloaked world where a prophetess with prophetic dreams must embark on an impossible quest alongside a devilishly handsome knight whose future remains hidden from her sight.
About the Story
Sybil Delling is a Diviner living in the great cathedral, one of the foundling girls who trades service for shelter. Her dreams reveal visions from six unearthly figures known as Omens, allowing her to predict terrible future events for lords and common folk alike in the kingdom of Traum. Just as her service nears its end, a mysterious knight named Rodrick arrives. Rude, heretical, and handsome, Rodrick scoffs at Sybil's visions. However, when her fellow Diviners begin to vanish, Sybil must rely on the heretic to help her find them, as only a heretic might be able to defeat the gods holding the answers.
