Christened by the press as America's Sweethearts, The Go-Go's had a meteoric rise in the early 1980s. With a string of self-penned hits and a massive global fanbase, they became one of the first all-female bands to top the charts and dominate MTV. Recorded live at the Sun Plaza Hotel in Tokyo on June 19, 1982, the concert features a sold-out audience and high-energy renditions of their biggest hits, including "We Got The Beat," "Our Lips Are Sealed," and a dynamic cover of Elvis Presley's "Let's Have A Party." The show radiates the glamour, passion, and raw energy that defined LA's new wave scene.

Splendidly politically incorrect by today’s standards but a bit of fun. Set in Nigeria but I suspect filmed in East a Africa - the fever trees in the wildlife scenes give it away
