Description
Jurassic Shift is a psychedelic rock album by Ozric Tentacles, suited to listeners drawn to ambient textures, dub and progressive rock. This one-disc vinyl edition features the 2020 remaster by frontman Ed Wynne.
Ozric Tentacles blend ethereal soundscapes, freeform dub, rave grooves and spiralling guitars with keyboards, samplers and rhythm-led bass and drums. The band emerged from the UK festival scene and developed a distinctive psychedelic sound.
Their fourth proper album, Jurassic Shift was recorded at the band's own studio, The Mill, and reached number 11 in the UK national chart on its 1993 release.
