Band member Adrianne Lenker retreated to a one-room cabin in the mountains of western Massachusetts, where these intimate recordings were born. This release is 100% analog-analog-analog (AAA), with no digital process used in the production of the sound recording. The album's stunning artwork features watercolor paintings by Adrianne's grandmother, Diane Lee, adding a deeply personal touch to this evocative musical journey.
