Description

Pretenders’ debut album on CD features songs by singer Chrissie Hynde and performances by her band. It moves between pop and rock, with songs including “Brass in Pocket” and “Stop Your Sobbing”.

The album pairs Hynde’s distinctive vocals with rhythmically complex performances, ranging from the pop of “Kid” to the more aggressive sound of “Precious”, “Up the Neck” and “Tattooed Love Boys”.
