Oceanside Countryside is the latest of Neil Young’s great “lost” albums to be released as part of his Analog Original Series (AOS). Recorded from May to December 1977, this album precedes Comes A Time (1978) and shares its country/folk sound, with three songs—"Goin’ Back," "Human Highway," and "Field of Opportunity"—appearing on both releases. This vinyl edition presents the original planned track list for the first time ever on vinyl, featuring the original analog mixes as recorded in 1977. As Neil Young states, these recordings capture his vocals and instrumentation performed at Triad Studios in Florida, Indigo Studio in Malibu, and with his band at Crazy Mama’s in Nashville. This is a rare, authentic analog release from one of rock’s most iconic singer-songwriters.
