Description
HUMAN is the second full-length album from Jess By The Lake, led by former Jess And The Ancient Ones vocalist Jasmin Lempinen. Recorded live on magnetic tape, it offers a raw, heavier take on the band’s rock sound.
Centred on people, human destinies and the human condition, the album pays homage to rock traditions. Its fully analogue recording was made at Höyrybaari in Lapinlahti, Finland, in the summer of 2023.
Opening track “Jaleihou” brings the album’s most explosive energy. The recording features Jess By The Lake with Marianne on drums, Oliver on bass and Sampo Leksis on guitar.
