Specially formulated for fat-rich mediums, this Merlot shade disperses evenly through buttercream, chocolate, cake batter, ganache, and sugarpastes for rich, consistent results that won't fade.

Unlike water-based gel colours, Colour Mill Oil Blend is 100% oil-based, removing all water materials and replacing them with bake-friendly oils that mix seamlessly into your baking. The high concentration means only a tiny drop is needed—use the tip of a cocktail stick to build up your desired shade gradually. More drops increase intensity, while fewer create softer hues.

This versatile food colouring works exceptionally well in buttercream, Swiss meringue, marzipan, modelling pastes, flower pastes, gumpaste, pastry, frostings, isomalt, piping gel, and cake lace mixes. Each 20ml bottle features a precision squeeze-top dispenser for accurate application. With over 50 colours available, you can create stunning, UV- and fade-resistant designs. Note: Due to its oil base, drying time may be longer than average. Can be diluted with alcohol to create edible paint.
