Synopsis

Inspector Maigret (Albert Préjean) of the Parisian police is repeatedly bothered by Cécile Pardon (Santa Relli), who reports nightly break-ins at her home. Maigret, preoccupied with a counterfeiting investigation, initially dismisses her claims. However, Cécile is soon murdered in the very police station where she sought his assistance.
