Dirty Foot Lane features powerful tracks inspired by live performance, mental health awareness, lockdown experiences, family bonds, resilience, and reflection. The core of the album is the title track, which Dave describes as: 'My story -- my family, my home, my journey.'

The album was produced alongside Django Holder, featuring contributions from long-time collaborator John Berry and producer Rob Childs, offering listeners a perspective on Dave Hill they have not heard before.
